Young Fashion Development Workshops for ages 9-20 years

Fashion Development Workshops currently take place on weekends in London. This project helps fashion students build a portfolio and bridge the gap between school and college, or college and industry. This project supports young people from all backgrounds between 9-20 years.

These workshops are for young people who are creative and interested in fashion design, and are considering fashion as a career path. This project gives young people an opportunity to learn about garment construction, produce a small collection, celebrate their achievements and showcase in a Gala fashion show to the public and press at a prestigious venue in London.

The fashion development workshops support and work with young people helping them produce and develop their fashion sketches they are taught some practical sewing and design skills they learn about inspiration/influences. Motivational speakers from the fashion industry are invited to talk to participants.

We request parents or a guardian’s signature for all young people less than 18 years involved in all of our projects. We encourage parents to be proactive and support their young people with project.
