Tyler Media/Children Are the Future Youth Award

Each year the Tyler Media/Children Are The Future Youth Award is presented to a student who has excelled both creatively and academically. This award honours fashion and visual arts students aged fourteen through to twenty-five – the award aims to nurture raw talent, and encourage outstanding young people to follow their dreams by offering the chance of a successful place in the fashion world.

Being selected for the award is just the beginning, after the ceremony a support system that addresses all aspects of a developing career is set in motion. The winner has the opportunity to learn about the business, meet key people and finesse his or her skills, all while designing a debut collection with a runway lit and waiting at the end of the journey.

This year’s Tyler Media/Children Are the Future Youth Award winner will be given the opportunity to learn about the fashion business and to present his or her first collection on the runway at the International Designer Show.
